Job description
Psychological Health and Safety Facilitator (Contract, Bilingual)

Overview

The Becoming Institute is seeking

Psychological Health and Safety Facilitators to support our Certificate in Psychological Health & Safety. You will deliver virtual, instructor-led sessions using standardized session plans, leading structured interaction (case analysis, guided discussion, role practice, and applied tools) while maintaining a psychologically safe, non-clinical learning environment. You will support the completion pathway by confirming participation requirements, guiding learners through module artifacts, and escalating barriers early (access, accessibility needs, or cohort dynamics) to keep delivery consistent across cohorts. No. of Vacancies

5 Skills Required

Expert facilitation skill:

confident leading adult learners through structured discussion, role practice, and debrief in a psychologically safe way. Trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice:

able to hold complexity, reduce reactivity, and support diverse participants without minimizing accountability. Psychological Health & Safety fluency:

working knowledge of psychosocial risk, workplace mental health, and practical prevention/response strategies. Strong boundary management:

able to keep sessions professional and learning-focused (not therapy), while still being relational and humane. Implementation mindset:

skilled at moving groups from insight to

applied action , producing concrete workplace outputs each session. High structure + time discipline:

can follow session plans, manage pacing, and maintain consistency across cohorts without drift. Communication excellence:

clear verbal instruction, concise written guidance, and the ability to simplify complex concepts without losing accuracy. Conflict navigation:

skilled at managing resistance, tension, and difficult dynamics in a calm, non-escalating manner. Tech-ready delivery:

comfortable facilitating on Zoom/Teams, using slides, managing chat/breakouts/polls, and troubleshooting basic issues. Reliability and follow-through:

meets deadlines, completes documentation, and operates with strong professional integrity and confidentiality. Facilitate live cohort sessions (typically

2 hours ) for assigned cohorts and scheduled timebands. Deliver

consistent, standardized module delivery

aligned to the session plan, timing discipline, and program controls. Lead structured interaction:

case-based analysis, guided group discussion, role practice, and debrief —with clear professional boundaries. Reinforce

mandatory pre-work

by integrating it into live activities (without re-teaching core content). Drive workplace transfer: ensure participants leave each session with a

clear applied action

tied to module objectives. Direct and reinforce

completion artifacts

(what learners must submit) and support completion verification routines. Participate in facilitator

calibration and standardization

(briefings, practice runs, continuous improvement) to maintain consistent learner experience across cohorts. Complete required post-session records:

attendance confirmation, operational notes, and flagged issues

for program tracking. Escalate delivery risks early (accessibility barriers, participation concerns, operational issues) through the defined workflow. Contribute to quality signals and improvement capture: document repeat issues, learner friction points, and practical recommendations. Additional Requirements

Availability:

Able to deliver scheduled cohort sessions reliably (including occasional evenings/weekends, depending on cohort timing). Independent contractor readiness:

Able to work as an independent contractor and issue invoices in line with contract terms. In-person requirements:

While program delivery is not onsite,

in-person facilitator training and periodic in-person meetings are required

(location and schedule provided in advance). Confidentiality:

Able to operate under strict confidentiality and privacy expectations; comfortable holding sensitive workplace content appropriately. Professional boundaries:

Maintains clear boundaries in group settings and keeps facilitation learning-focused (not clinical therapy). Technology:

Reliable laptop, stable high-speed internet, and comfort using Zoom/Teams and standard collaboration tools. Documentation:

Willing to complete required session documentation (attendance confirmation, delivery notes, and escalation flags) within stated timelines. Alignment:
