A typical day for the Quality Assurance Analyst Test Planning & Release Readiness

Lead risk-based test planning across complex system changes, translating impact, urgency, and uncertainty into clear test coverage and release recommendations. Define acceptance criteria, test strategy, coverage, estimates, schedules, and readiness expectations based on risk and impact. Assess testoutcomes, defects, risk, and release readiness to provide clear go/no-go recommendations. Testing, Analysis & Defect Management

Execute testingacross assigned work, with focusonquality, evidence, andsystem impacts. Triage issues,analyze results and defects, and identify quality risks or coverage gaps. Lead QA standards, practices, and reusable approaches that support consistent quality governance. Mentor QA analysts by reviewing test artifacts, validating approaches, and reinforcing strong QA judgment. Build reusable test assets, regression suites, test data libraries, decision criteria, automation artifacts, and lessons learned. Automation, AI & Smarter Ways of Working

Buildan automated testsuite from the ground up, starting with high-value and repeatable test coverage. UseautomationandAI-enabled toolsto reduce manual effort, improveconsistency, and surface quality risks earlier. Apply governance, privacy, security, and human validation expectations to automation and AI-assisted QA practices. What you bring 5+ years of relevant experience Proven ability to develop and perform software test execution and use standard technical tools, such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar Advanced experience using automation and AI-assisted approaches to reduce manual testing effort, strengthen test planning, and improve quality consistency. Proficiency at analyzing, troubleshooting, and critical thinking Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and practical understanding of integrated software systems CSTE/CSQA and ITIL certification is a valuable asset Concise writing and verbal communication skills for both IT and business audiences Why choose APS
