Position Summary We are seeking a

Manager, Software Development,

to lead the evolution of Bentley’s Civil Engineering software portfolio. In this role, you will manage a globally distributed team of developers and oversee day‑to‑day operations, driving technical excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic impact. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement processes, guide engineering investment decisions, and deliver high‑quality, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities Lead and Inspire Manage, mentor, and develop a global software engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Drive delivery of highly available, scalable, and performant cloud services.

Drive Transformation Champion the transition to an Empowered Teams organizational model. Promote modern engineering practices, tools, and workflows to improve productivity and quality.

Own Delivery Excellence Ensure high standards for code quality, maintainability, testing, and overall product stability. Oversee release readiness, defect management, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Strategic Decision‑Making Use data, telemetry, customer feedback, and engineering insight to: Guide product strategies Prioritize engineering investments Optimize development efficiency and team focus

Collaborate Across Functions Partner with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, and leadership to align on product strategy and delivery goals. Support cross‑functional coordination to ensure the success of major initiatives.

Build Talent Recruit, coach, and develop high‑performing engineering talent. Encourage continuous learning, skill development, and technical growth within the team.

Qualifications Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience with 3+ years of technical experience. Proven leadership experience managing globally distributed software teams with 2+ years of experience. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership skills. High intellectual curiosity and adaptability to evolving tools, technologies, and industry trends. A coaching‑oriented mindset with a passion for team and individual development.

gestionnaire, développement de logiciels,

pour diriger l’évolution du portefeuille de logiciels de génie civil de Bentley. Dans ce rôle, vous gérerez une équipe mondiale de développeurs et superviserez les opérations quotidiennes, en favorisant l’excellence technique, la transformation organisationnelle et l’impact stratégique. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec la haute direction pour mettre en œuvre des processus, orienter les décisions d’investissement en ingénierie et fournir des solutions fiables et de haute qualité.

Responsabilités Diriger et inspirer Gérer, encadrer et développer une équipe mondiale d’ingénierie logicielle. Favoriser une culture d’innovation, de responsabilisation et de collaboration. Assurer la livraison de services infonuagiques hautement disponibles, évolutifs et performants.

Piloter la transformation Soutenir la transition vers un modèle organisationnel d’équipes responsabilisées (Empowered Teams). Promouvoir des pratiques, des outils et des flux de travail d’ingénierie modernes pour améliorer la productivité et la qualité.

Assurer l’excellence de la livraison Garantir des normes élevées en matière de qualité de code, de maintenabilité, de tests et de stabilité globale du produit. Superviser la préparation des lancements, la gestion des anomalies et l’amélioration continue des processus d’ingénierie.

Prise de décisions stratégiques Utiliser les données, la télémétrie, les commentaires des clients et les connaissances en ingénierie pour : Orienter les stratégies de produits. Prioriser les investissements en ingénierie. Optimiser l’efficacité du développement et la concentration de l’équipe.

Collaborer de manière interfonctionnelle S’associer à la gestion de produits, à l’expérience utilisateur (UX), à l’ingénierie de la qualité et à la direction pour s’aligner sur la stratégie de produit et les objectifs de livraison. Soutenir la coordination interfonctionnelle pour assurer le succès des initiatives majeures.

Développer les talents Recruter, encadrer et développer des talents en ingénierie hautement performants. Encourager l’apprentissage continu, le développement des compétences et la croissance technique au sein de l’équipe.

Qualifications Exigences Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en ingénierie, ou expérience équivalente dans l’industrie avec plus de 3 ans d’expérience technique. Expérience avérée en leadership dans la gestion d’équipes de développement logiciel réparties à l’échelle mondiale avec plus de 2 ans d’expérience. Excellentes compétences en communication, en réflexion stratégique et en leadership collaboratif. Grande curiosité intellectuelle et capacité d’adaptation à l’évolution des outils, des technologies et des tendances de l’industrie. Esprit axé sur le coaching et passion pour le développement d’équipe et le développement individuel.
