OVERVIEW:
Reportingto the Director of Human Resource the Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for providing guidance onHR policies employee relations performance management and workplace issueswhile fostering a positive inclusive and high-performing work environment.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary contact for handling employee inquiries andworkplace concerns while maintaining accurate documentation.
Investigate employee complaints grievances andworkplace conflicts in a fair timely and confidential manner.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and companypolicies.
Support managers in Performance Improvement Plans(PIPs).
Monitor and ensure employee performance reviews arescheduled and in compliance with organization policies and guidelines.
Coordinate organizations performance review processwith supervisors.
Guide employees with performance review process andcareer development.
Create employee job descriptions and job postings.
Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.
Must have extensive knowledge of recruitmentstrategies and assist with all aspects of recruitment including offboardingwhen needed.
Promote employee engagement and retentioninitiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources Management or a related discipline is required.
