This posting is to fill (1) permanent position with Continuing Care at Alexander McDonald Lodge in Dawson City

working 12-hour shift rotations including day and night shifts.

It will also be used to establish a 12‑month eligibility list, which may be used to fill future term and permanent vacancies.

The position is based in Dawson City , a vibrant and diverse northern community in the Yukon .

is a 15-bed long-term care home that provides person-centered care to individuals who need varying levels of intermediate care support with daily living activities. Through responsiveness to each resident’s uniqueness, the Lodge creates a feeling of home and belonging for all who live there.

Eligible for registration as a licensed practical nurse in Canada

Considerable experience providing nursing care in a clinical setting

Recent applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices and techniques

Recent applied knowledge and experience in medication administration in a clinical setting

Job requirements:
