Job description
Founded in 2001, Fed Finance specializes in temporary and permanent recruitment for accounting and finance roles. Our consultants are all experts and speak your language. Mission I am looking for a financial controller for a construction company in the Laurentians. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and supporting a team of about fifteen accounting staff. - Coordinating month-end activities and ensuring the books are closed. - Reviewing accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses. - Oversee the accounts payable cycle and validate accounting processes. - Prepare and present financial statements for various entities. - Collaborate with corporate teams to meet financial deadlines. - Ensure tax compliance and drive improvements to financial processes. - Participate in the development of cash flow forecasts and the optimization of financial operations. Your profile Your Profile: -Experience in the construction industry (a significant asset). -8 to 10 years of accounting experience -Experience in team management. -Excellent command of the full accounting cycle and financial statements. -Experience with accounting ERP software (a plus) -Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent leadership and team coordination abilities What we offer: -Group insurance -RRSP -On-site gym -4 weeks of vacation
