Job description
Who are we?

At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries. Sales Operations Analyst

What Will You Contribute?

Finastra is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support sales operations, deal approval workflows, CRM coordination, documentation, reporting, and process support for the sales organization. In this role, you will help keep sales processes moving by supporting deal‑related requests, managing activity through the Sales Operations Support Services queue, preparing meeting agendas, capturing follow‑up actions, updating CRM records, and coordinating with Sales, Commercial Finance, Billing, and Process Center teams. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate enjoys coordination, problem‑solving, process documentation, and helping sales teams navigate approvals, systems, and operational workflows. Responsibilities & Deliverables

Resolve issues raised by the sales organization through the Sales Operations Support Services ticket queue, ensuring requests are tracked, updated, and completed in a timely manner. Support deal approval workflows by coordinating requests, capturing required information, tracking follow‑up actions, and helping ensure CRM records are updated accurately. Participate in weekly Executive Deal Desk meetings in a coordination capacity, including agenda preparation, action tracking, and CRM updates. Partner with Sales, Commercial Finance, Billing, Process Center, and other business stakeholders to support sales operations processes and deal‑related follow‑through. Create and maintain process documentation, workflow guidance, and standardized resources to support the sales team. Support reporting and analysis needs, including Salesforce opportunity reports, sales performance metrics, and Excel‑based tracking. Assist with CRM tool change requests, including documentation of business requirements, test scripts, and pre‑production testing support. Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve sales operations workflows. Required Experience & Skills

Experience in sales operations, deal desk support, commercial operations, sales support, business operations, CRM administration, or a similar coordination‑focused function. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Commercial Finance, Billing, Process Center, and other cross‑functional partners. Experience working with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is preferred, though experience with another CRM system is also valuable. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work with reports, sales data, and operational tracking. Ability to gather requirements, ask clarifying questions, document processes, and recommend practical solutions. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently within agreed timelines. Exposure to pricing workflows, deal desk support, software, fintech, financial services, or AI‑enabled tools is a plus, but not required. This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga, Canada with 2 days/week in office requirement. As part of our hiring process, we may use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help screen and shortlist applications. All final hiring decisions are made by our recruitment team. This position is for an existing vacancy within our organization. Compensation: 63,000.00 - 75000.00 CAD Annual.
