SAP Testing Lead

We are seeking an SAP Test Lead to define, govern, and execute our end-to-end testing strategy. Responsibilities
End-to-End Test Strategy & Governance: Define, maintain, and govern the Master Test Plan, coverage scope, quality gates, and entrance/exit criteria across Developer Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression, MOCK cutovers, and Performance Testing.
Traceability & Quality Standards: Establish strict requirements-to-test traceability, test evidence protocols, and quality metrics using enterprise management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, SAP Cloud ALM).
SIT & UAT Execution Leadership: Accountable for SIT and UAT strategy and execution. Oversee tester onboarding, scenario validation, environment readiness, test data management, and day-to-day execution monitoring.
Defect Management & Triage: Lead cross-functional defect triage forums with functional leads, technical teams, and vendor partners. Drive root-cause analysis, prioritization, retest planning, and defect burndown metrics.
Vendor & SI Accountability: Partner with and hold System Integrators and vendor partners accountable for delivery quality, execution discipline, and schedule adherence.
Reporting & Go-Live Recommendations: Produce executive quality dashboards (coverage, pass rates, defect aging, severity mix) to communicate readiness risks and provide data-backed go/no-go recommendations.

Qualifications
Required:
Education: University degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Enterprise Testing Leadership: 8+ years of experience in enterprise software testing and quality leadership, including hands-on leadership in at least one major ERP (SAP) transformation program.
SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Working understanding of SAP S/4HANA solution modules, integration patterns, and Clean Core principles (BTP, side-by-side extensions, transport strategies) to drive risk-based coverage.
End-to-End Test Lifecycle Expertise: Demonstrated mastery across test lifecycle phases—from unit test expectations to SIT, UAT execution, regression planning, and MOCK data migration validation.
Defect Governance & Tools: Deep expertise in defect triage management, metrics tracking, and enterprise testing platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, SAP Cloud ALM).
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, hold vendors accountable, and articulate testing outcomes to business leaders.
Preferred:
Recognized industry testing or project management certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, Agile/Scrum).
Experience with automated testing tools, performance volume testing support, or regulated industry audit requirements.
