  • Provide leadership and oversight for E&I construction, maintenance, turnaround, and capital project execution.
  • Support Area and District Managers in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project performance.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of projects that meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives across all operating regions.

Safety, Quality & Technical Leadership

  • Champion FLINT's safety culture and lead the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance E&I Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safe Work Practices (SWPs), and technical standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, operational processes, and project execution practices.

People, Financial & Business Leadership

  • Lead workforce development, succession planning, technical competency, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations leaders to optimize business performance and support long-term organizational success.

Perks of the job

  • Competitive compensation
  • Health coverage for you and your family
  • Generous number of vacation days each year
  • Opportunity for growth/advancement/development
  • RRSP matching

Qualifications

  • Relevant Trade Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in E&I, industrial construction, maintenance, or project delivery environments.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale construction, maintenance, turnaround, shutdown, and capital projects, including full project lifecycle oversight.
  • Proven success leading multi-district operations and developing growth strategies that drive revenue and market expansion.
  • Strong technical expertise in industrial electrical and instrumentation construction, maintenance, and project delivery practices.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial management, operational performance, and client relationship management.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; industrial/oil and gas experience and established industry relationships are considered assets.
