Senior Analyst, Finance Operations

We are seeking a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance team and support the financial performance of our residential rental portfolio. This role plays a critical part in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, and business analysis across multiple regions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Prepare monthly NOI reporting and variance analysis, including actual-to-budget, year-over-year, and forecast-to-budget comparisons.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for operating revenues and expenses.
• Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to Operations Leaders and Finance stakeholders.
• Prepare and record monthly accruals, payroll-related entries, and Gross Potential Rent (GPR) journal entries.
• Partner with Operations and Procurement teams to ensure expenses and accruals are complete, accurate, and properly supported.
• Manage purchase order aging, oversee the closure of inactive purchase orders, and ensure accurate PO accruals.
• Support month‑end close activities, account reconciliations, CAPEX reporting, and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, processes, controls, and data quality across the business.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and financial systems; Yardi experience is considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across Finance, Operations, Procurement, FP&A, and other business functions.
• Experience in real estate, property management, or residential rental operations is considered an asset.
