We are looking for a Mechanic/Millwright located in Peace River, AB. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducts field service calls as required


  • Provide mechanical services in both field and shop environments


  • Provides professional and timely service


  • Disassembles, cleans, inspects, and rebuilds equipment


  • Assists in troubleshooting and failure analysis


  • Performs component testing


  • Completes field service reports


  • Maintains and repairs equipment, tools and company vehicles


Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Drug and alcohol testing


  • Fitness-to-work testing


  • Drivers' abstract


Position Details:

  • Working at the Peace River facility, customer sites, remote locations


  • Permanent


  • Full-time


  • Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required


  • Weekend or night shift on-call rotations


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with mechanical assembly and service


  • Experience with natural gas engines, wellheads, and compressors is an asset


  • Strong understanding of engine and compressor performance and operations


  • Experience working with machinery and power tools


  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean record


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read blueprints


  • Journeyperson mechanic/millwright ticket an asset
