As our Third Party (Vendor) Insights Senior Analyst, you won’t just crunch numbers; you’ll be the architect of our data‑driven decision‑making. Supporting our Third Party Relationships (TPR) team across the Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) and third‑party lifecycle, you will serve as our analytical hub. You will connect analytics, technology, and operational processes to deliver solutions that enable the TPR team and business partners to address complex vendor, risk, and business challenges, strengthen operational resilience, and unlock value across ATB’s enterprise third‑party ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

• Bridge Data and Strategy: Take multi‑layered third‑party and procurement data and translate it into clear, visual narratives and unified reporting that support leadership and business decision‑making.
• Drive Understanding and Optimization: Go beyond building reports to uncover cost‑optimization opportunities, embed risk and compliance metrics into KPI frameworks, and streamline operational workflows across the third‑party lifecycle.
• Explore Digital Innovation: Leverage Generative AI (e.g., Google Gemini) and modern digital tools to optimize analytics workflows, boost efficiency, and automate routine tasks.
• Platform Continuity and System Knowledge: Provide secondary backup support for our Platform Administrators on our enterprise S2P platform (Ivalua) – building hands‑on system proficiency that enhances your ability to design impactful data and operational solutions.

Accountabilities

Your accountabilities in this role define your impact – you will leverage your analytical precision and problem‑solving mindset to elevate performance and unlock efficiencies across the Third Party Relationships ecosystem.

• Synthesize complex data across the S2P and third‑party lifecycle (Sourcing, Contracting, Risk, and Performance) using SQL, database querying, analytics, and relational data logic to deliver actionable insights that support decision‑making.
• Compile, manage, and deliver recurring operational and ad‑hoc reporting (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually, or on‑demand) to provide timely, accurate, and actionable metrics in support of the TPR team and leadership.
• Support data, AI, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across the TPR ecosystem, contributing to the design, build, and rollout of enhanced analytics, operational reporting, and workflow optimizations.
• Translate business goals into financial analytics by connecting operational objectives with cost‑benefit modeling, ROI assessments, and detailed data specifications to support business cases and leadership recommendations.
• Build and maintain visual dashboards and reports using business intelligence and data visualization platforms to transform raw, multi‑table third‑party datasets into clear, narrative‑driven stories and visual briefings for leadership.
• Facilitate cross‑functional discovery sessions with stakeholders to uncover core business challenges, translate needs into technical data requirements, formulate data‑driven recommendations, build and implement solutions, and deliver training on solutions developed within this role to drive user adoption.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate Generative AI (e.g., Google Gemini) and digital technologies into S2P and third‑party lifecycle workflows, analytics, and operational processes to boost efficiency across the TPR ecosystem.
• Contribute to the development of data quality standards and KPI frameworks to measure and track key metrics, operational performance, third‑party risk mitigation, and reporting accuracy for datasets and dashboards within the S2P and third‑party lifecycle scope.
• Provide secondary platform backup for Platform Administrators on our enterprise S2P platform – assisting with internal and vendor user support, issue resolution, and testing to ensure seamless operational continuity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, third‑party insights, or financial analysis within an enterprise environment.

Technical Skills

• SQL and Relational Database Proficiency: Hands‑on experience using SQL to query multi‑table relational database structures (e.g., S2P or ERP systems), extract and validate data, and resolve data anomalies to ensure clean, reliable datasets for analysis.
• Data Visualization and Storytelling: Proven track record building interactive dashboards and visual reports in enterprise business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) that translate complex, multi‑layered data into clear, narrative‑driven briefs for leadership and business partners.
• Digital Fluency and GenAI Innovation: Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI (e.g., Google Gemini) and modern digital tools to streamline analytical workflows, automate routine tasks, and boost operational efficiency.

Domain Expertise and Platform Support

• S2P and Third Party (Vendor) Domain Knowledge: Solid working knowledge across the Source‑to‑Pay and third‑party lifecycle, including tracking performance and risk metrics, monitoring data quality, identifying cost‑optimization opportunities, and contributing to KPI frameworks.
• Secondary Platform Support: Hands‑on experience utilizing enterprise systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Salesforce), with the technical adaptability to learn and support our S2P platform, Ivalua (no prior Ivalua experience required; training provided).

Enablement and Collaboration

• Business Analysis and Stakeholder Enablement: Strong problem‑solving and meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to lead discovery sessions, formulate data‑driven recommendations, build solutions, and deliver user training to drive adoption.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to partnering across cross‑functional teams (e.g., finance, risk, legal, technology, and operations).

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Assets)

• Direct hands‑on experience with enterprise third‑party (vendor) or Source‑to‑Pay software (such as Ivalua, Coupa, or SAP Ariba).
• Recognized professional designations or certifications in Supply Chain (SCMP, CPSM), Third Party Risk (CTPRP), Business Analysis (CBAP), or Data Visualization (Tableau Desktop / Power BI Certified).

Workplace Arrangement

This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 1 day on‑site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
