Now Hiring: Team Lead – Zuke's x Purina Guerrilla Sampling Activation

We're looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable Team Lead to oversee our Zuke's x Purina Guerrilla Sampling Activation across Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Brand Ambassadors while representing two trusted pet brands through engaging community activations.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys interacting with the public and their dogs, and is comfortable managing logistics, warehouse operations, and driving a U-Haul–style cargo van between activation sites.

Location: Various locations throughout Vancouver, BC

Pay Rate: $28 / HR

Activation Dates & Shift Times:

• Saturday, August 15, 2026 – English Bay Beach | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Sunday, August 16, 2026 – Kitsilano Farmers Market | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday, August 22, 2026 – Trout Lake Farmers Market | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday, August 23, 2026 – David Lam Park | 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Mandatory Virtual Training – Thursday, August 13, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM PT (Mandatory)

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Team Lead, Brand Ambassador, experiential marketing, promotions, events, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Outgoing, energetic, and confident engaging with the public.
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and engaging with pet owners in outdoor community settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, reliable, professional, and able to lead a team with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy activation environments.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable assisting with event setup, teardown, inventory management, and maintaining an organized activation space.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable driving a U-Haul–style cargo van to transport products and activation materials between the warehouse and event locations.
• Must be available for the mandatory virtual training and all activation dates.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support the Brand Ambassador team throughout each activation.
• Transport products, equipment, and activation materials to and from the warehouse using a U-Haul–style cargo van.
• Manage product inventory, event supplies, and on-site logistics.
• Coordinate event setup, teardown, and ensure the activation space remains organized and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Engage with consumers by distributing Zuke's product samples and educating pet owners about the Zuke's and Purina brands.
• Assist with guerrilla sampling initiatives and create memorable, positive brand experiences.
• Communicate with agency contacts and provide updates throughout each activation.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure activations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Complete post-event reporting, inventory reconciliation, and other required documentation.
• Represent Zuke's, Purina, and the agency with professionalism, enthusiasm, and exceptional customer service throughout every shift.
