About This Team

This role is part of the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) Environment team within lululemon’s enterprise sustainability function. The team leads the activation of supplier-facing environmental strategies across climate, water, waste, and nature, working cross-functionally to embed impact across sourcing and product creation. The team is focused on driving measurable environmental performance at the facility level by integrating programs, strengthening data systems, and building supplier capability. This role plays a critical leadership function in simplifying how vendors engage with lululemon’s environmental expectations while accelerating progress toward our impact goals.

Core Responsibilities

The Environment Manager, Responsible Supply Chain is a people leader responsible for driving facility-level environmental engagement and performance across lululemon’s global supply chain through a cohesive, scalable operating model. This role partners closely with environmental program leads to integrate initiatives, enable consistent execution, and drive continuous improvement at scale. This is a highly cross‑functional role requiring strong program leadership, supplier engagement experience, and the ability to translate strategy into execution. The ideal candidate brings a blend of sustainability expertise, operational pragmatism, relationship management, and data fluency.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team responsible for vendor engagement, environmental assessments, and performance management across global facilities
  • Activate and continuously evolve a global facility engagement strategy, including segmentation, prioritization, and differentiated engagement models based on risk and impact
  • Drive alignment and integration across climate, water, waste, and nature programs to deliver a simplified and cohesive supplier experience while improving program effectiveness and scale
  • Represent the RSC environmental programs in support of the development of environmental impact quantification, integrated scorecards, dashboards, vendor engagement, and tools to facilitate streamlined, efficient, and high‑quality programs in collaboration with cross‑functional Subject Matter Experts.
  • Establish and evolve team ways of working, operating rhythms, and governance models to ensure consistency and effective execution across environmental programs and regions
  • Oversee facility‑level environmental performance tracking, including KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that inform sourcing and business decisions
  • Establish and scale unified root cause analysis and corrective action (CAP) processes to address non‑conformances and enable sustained performance improvement
  • Partner with vendors to build technical capability and ownership, driving improvements in energy, water, waste, and overall environmental performance
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sourcing, sustainability, and product teams to embed environmental performance into sourcing strategies and vendor management decisions
  • Design and implement clear, consistent communication strategies to align internal partners and vendors on expectations, priorities, and performance outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with global supply chain partners and/or environmental programs
  • 3+ years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
  • Strong experience with facility‑level environmental assessments and frameworks (e.g., Higg FEM, ZDHC, or similar tools)
  • Deep understanding of environmental impacts and improvement opportunities within apparel, textile, or footwear manufacturing (energy, water, waste, chemicals)
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling corrective action, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and programs
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to synthesize complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and translate environmental performance data into clear recommendations that inform sourcing and business decisions
  • Experience leveraging data systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to track impact and support decision‑making
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with external vendors and senior internal partners

Compensation And Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from $116,200 - $152,600 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus programand, subject to program eligibility requirements.
