Position Scope

NACG is looking for Hydraulic Shovel Operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region.

For this role NACG offers a combined rate of up to$54.86/houras well as room for growth

Where Youll Be Working

  • Site: Fort Hills
  • Schedule: 14x7 12 hr (paid for 12 hours) days/nights
  • Accommodations: Camp accommodations are provided.
  • Transportation: Flights provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary.
  • Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.

We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.

Qualifications

What Makes You the ONE

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operatingand 5500 Front-Loading Hitachi Shovels.
  • Must have at least 2 years experience in mining environment.
  • High school diploma GED and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.
