Head of Construction About the Company Respected real estate development company Industry Construction Type Privately Held Employees 1-10 About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Construction to lead the advancement of its unique construction identity. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 12 Project Managers and Superintendents, providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to ensure consistent execution across all projects. This role is pivotal in acting as a central hub for knowledge transfer, capability building, and cross-functional alignment with senior leaders. The Head of Construction will be instrumental in shaping the future of the company, with a focus on scaling the business, strengthening its people, and delivering exceptional developments. The ideal candidate for the Head of Construction position at the company will be a proven construction leader with excellent people management and project management skills. While specific wood-frame, multi-residential experience is an asset, it is not a requirement. The role demands a candidate who can bring discipline, structure, and a good understanding of best practices and process improvement, while remaining open and flexible to ensure that changes enhance the company's unique approach to construction. Building strong relationships across the business is critical, as the organization values a nimble, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture that emphasizes quality and client satisfaction.
