As a
Senior Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for working within the engineering and water treatment optimization team to provide senior-level input and support for the design, construction, commissioning and optimization of water treatment systems.
About the Role
- Provide senior-level input and operational support for the design, construction, commissioning and optimization of water treatment systems.
- Provide direction and assist the performance of the water treatment, remediation and reclamation projects.
- Supports risk analysis with project management.
- Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing communication and understanding of client goals.
- Travel to potential and existing work sites to interface with on-site staff, vendors, customers, and regulatory personnel.
- Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise.
- Develop and update documentation including operational manuals, drawings and site-specific information for the safety, operations, and maintenance of the site.
- Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance.
- Identify and recommend improvements to operations to ensure assigned functions are efficient and cost effective.
- Take proper safety precautions, anticipate unsafe circumstances, and act accordingly to prevent accidents.
- Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise.
- Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals.
- Mentor and provide technical training to junior team members and operators.
- All other duties as required.
About You
Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, process, or environmental engineering.
- Professional Engineering designation required.
Experience
- 7+ years of previous experience working water treatment and consulting.
- Previous experience in industrial wastewater projects.
- Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead independent projects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
$110,000 - $150,000 a yearEnsero has offices in Canada (Saskatoon, Vancouver and Whitehorse) and the US (Denver), and is well established as an innovative leader in regulatory, environmental management, water treatment, remediation technologies, and facility operations.
