Our client is a highly successful listed mining contractor who, due to further growth, has created a new opportunity for an HR Superintendent to join their site based team - Drive In, Drive Out.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a high-performing operational team in a site-based HR Superintendent capacity. Operating on a Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) roster 5:2/4:3, this critical role forms part of the site's senior leadership team and plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people strategy within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this position is responsible for leading all on-site human resources activities, partnering closely with leaders to drive performance, culture, and workforce outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while ensuring alignment between business objectives and people initiatives.
To be successful in your application, you will have demonstrated experience in either a senior site based human resources role or a strategic HR-based role from within the mining and resources, or the heavy industrial sector. You will possess prior team management experience, be a strong coach and advisor to senior leadership teams. You will possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills and, ideally, have prior experience in client‑facing roles. This position is a DIDO opportunity and therefore, you must be committed to the given roster and lifestyle. It is essential that you possess a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia.
