Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. The Role

Cameco is looking for a motivated, results-oriented, analytical team player to join our risk and compliance team. As a publicly traded company, we work diligently to ensure we comply with all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) regulations. This is a unique opportunity to develop expertise in IT General Controls (ITGCs) and contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of Cameco’s SOx Compliance Program.

In this role, you will:

• Document and maintain ITGCs covering identity and access management, change management, operations, segregation of duties, IT security monitoring and backup and recovery.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of ITGCs and automated controls, including conducting walkthroughs, developing and executing test plans, and evaluating and documenting results.
• Work closely with process owners to develop remediation plans and support remediation efforts.
• Work with the company’s external auditors to discuss findings and potential solutions.
• Pride yourself in building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including IT, Finance and various other business units.

Required:

• bachelor’s degree in commerce, IT or related field;
• three plus years of experience in SOx compliance, IT audit, risk management, or IT controls;
• knowledge of SOx 404, ITGCs, and control frameworks (COBIT);
• equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; and
• excellent communication skills.

Recommended:

• experience with SAP, including SAP GRC
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), or similar certification.

Salary Range: $85,770 - $107,200
