BRKFREE is a brand new and immersive social gaming experience designed to make participants feel like they have entered another world.

The new concept is the future of in-person entertainment for groups of all kinds, with its combination of wildly entertaining gameplay, and great food and drinks.

The space will open with 35+ unique and high-technology game rooms where teams will encounter physical, mental, and skill-based challenges.

The Event Coordinator is responsible for selling the exciting experience of BRKFREE and working directly with our guests to build their perfect event.

The primary focus for the Event Coordinator will be developing a partnership with our group clients from an inbound and outbound perspective.

The Event Coordinator is expected to continually build these relationships through networking in the community. The Event Coordinator is responsible for maximizing event sales revenues through play, food, beverage, and location rentals and buyouts.

This is accomplished through networking, solicitations, grassroots sales, and attaining or exceeding the annual budget revenue goals and booking goals.

Key Responsibilities

How You’ll Do It

Strive to deliver an unparalleled guest experience from inquiry stage to post-event follow up.

Partner with the management team to foster a fun and engaging work environment, leading by example.

Proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization.

Work in tandem with the Operations Team to ensure flawless execution for ALL events. This includes all communication on any changes / updates to events and any specific needs for a successful event based on the guest’s expectations.

Proactively engage in outbound sales activity in an effort to grow event sales.

Responsible for effective contract management.

Work with the General Manager on PR, sales & marketing initiatives.

Establish and build relationships with key partners and clients.

Key Requirements

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of sales experience, entertainment industry experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of, demonstrates and teaches strong negotiation skills.

Strong interpersonal, people and communication skills to include the ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner.

Solid organizational and project management skill sets.

Capable of managing multiple projects / programs simultaneously, while remaining calm under pressure.

Excellent pace and energy, self-motivated

Strong ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management and vendors and ability to maintain and project professionalism, internally and externally, at all times.

Exercises good judgment in decision making.

Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes.

Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism

Process-oriented, highly organized, fast and accurate, able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Key Requirements

Ability and willingness to take on additional tasks

Adheres to federal, provincial and local labour laws

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and understands and complies with all scheduling policies and practices

Secures and maintains any assigned company property

Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds
