IT Project Delivery Manager

The Position :

Our client is in search of an IT Project Delivery Manager. The IT Project Delivery Manager oversees a team of Developers, Testers, and Business Analysts.

The IT Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of IT projects across the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to prioritize key initiatives and set project objectives
• Develop detailed project plans and provide ongoing status updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Lead multiple projects, tracking performance, managing budget, scope, and schedules effectively
• Optimize the IT Project Management Lifecycle using a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Manage the software development team in the creation, construction, and deployment of business-enhancing solutions
• Implement and manage change control processes and procedures
• Coach and provide support to team members
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions for business process improvements and project delivery
• Other duties as required

Qualifications :

• A proven track record in managing both business and technology projects in a dynamic environment
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and JIRA is an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ experience (experience in a warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing setting is considered an asset)
• Project Management certification ( PMP or Prince 2)
• Certifications in Agile or ITIL is an asset
