What You’ll Do

As an HR Consultant you will :

  • Lead and execute various HR focused projects for clients within various Canadian jurisdictions and industries; projects will include specialties such as policy development and audits, training, and HR programs.
  • Create and conduct onsite training for clients as needed.
  • Provide onsite support to clients based on project needs.
  • Manage full-cycle project management from conducting initial welcome and follow-up calls to supporting delivery of project to scope and within timelines.
  • Collaborate with project leads to discuss project specifications and expectations.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by completing assigned projects prior to established due dates and in line with established guidelines.
  • Provide feedback on products and services to highlight opportunities for content improvements.
  • Conduct discovery calls with clients to identify needs and support project generation opportunities.
  • Provide project support and / or collaboration on compensation projects.

Requirements

About You

You are an HR professional who :

  • Is passionate about everything human resources, from compliance to best practice!
  • Has a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or graduate certificate in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Has at least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources.
  • Is a strong communicator with a keen ability to engage clients, establish relationships, manage expectations, and make professional connections quickly!
  • Has demonstrated advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Is organized and able to effectively manage time, especially in the face of competing demands.
  • Has proven experience researching and developing human resources programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Loves to think outside of the box to develop streamlined and innovative solutions.
  • It’s a bonus if you :

  • Have your CHRP designation.
  • Have taken compensation courses.
  • Have experience with job evaluation, pay equity, and compensation analysis.
  • Have experience designing incentive compensation plans.
  • Have experience working within multiple jurisdictions (such as : federal, Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta).
  • Have experience working within various industries (such as : non-profit, First Nations, construction, manufacturing, retail, service sector).
  • Are fluent in French.
