RequiredThe Data and Analytics Initiative Department works on data governance and data valorization for the Desjardins Group Security Office (DGSO). As a cross-sector data governance advisor, you help define and implement data management processes to ensure the optimal and secure use of data for the benefit of members and clients, in accordance with compliance, confidentiality, privacy and security rules. You help teams recognize and manage data as a strategic asset. You also contribute to data valorization governance, including analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives, to promote responsible, secure, compliant use in accordance with applicable frameworks and in line with organizational objectives. You prepare recommendations on data use and compliance with governance documents that apply to data, that are adapted to the teams’ various needs and the organization’s objectives. You serve as a data governance resource person for practitioners. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to understand needs and present and explain proposed solutions.
