Platform Solutions Developer

Position Description:

CGI is seeking an experienced Platform Solutions Developer to join our team and deliver enterprise technology solutions across leading business platforms, including Charles River, Salesforce, and PEGA. In this role, you will design, develop, configure, and support platform-specific applications that enable business transformation and digital innovation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to solution design, application development, system integrations, cloud deployment, and production support while following modern software engineering and DevOps practices. This opportunity is ideal for a technology professional with expertise in one or more of these platforms and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality enterprise solutions. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in one of CGI's Atlantic Canada offices, including Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; Stratford, PEI; or St. John's, NL, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise solutions using Charles River, Salesforce, or PEGA technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and secure platform solutions.
• Develop platform integrations using APIs, ETL processes, and cloud-native integration services.
• Configure and customize platform capabilities to meet business and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud technologies.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated application deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Develop unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation, solution design, and Agile delivery practices.
• Promote secure coding standards, clean architecture principles, and continuous improvement across development teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing, configuring, or supporting enterprise applications using one or more of the following platforms: Charles River Investment Management System (IMS), Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud), or PEGA Infinity.
• Hands-on experience with platform-specific technologies such as Charles River Manager Workbench, Trade and Order Management, Compliance, SQL and Oracle; Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, Flows, APIs, or ETL integrations; or PEGA Infinity 24+, Constellation UI, DX API Framework, and SaaS deployments.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (AKS or GKE).
• Experience using Git-based source control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including clean architecture, secure coding, testing, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Assets
The following qualifications would be considered assets:
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud or wealth management platforms.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms using APIs or ETL tools such as Talend.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Cloud Run, or serverless technologies.
• Experience developing automated tests using Playwright or Selenium.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software architecture patterns.
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,-$, CAD. This role is an existing vacancy.
