The Lead, Product Control is responsible for leading the Product Control team, within Capital Power’s Commodity Risk function. The role is accountable for ensuring valuation integrity, P&L governance, and valuation related reporting for Capital Power’s Supply & Trading activities. This role oversees daily and month end P&L production, price curve validation, independent price verification, and valuation model governance, ensuring results are accurate, explainable, and compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements

The Lead, Product Control serves as a key control and analytical partner to Trading, Market Risk, Finance, and Compliance, and provides leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the Product Control team while driving continuous improvement across valuation processes and valuation ETRM system control
