As a Senior Accountant, Cloud Accounting Services (Senior Bookkeeper) your responsibilities will include:

• Reconcile data from 3rd party applications such as Dext, Wagepoint, Plooto, etc.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile and review sales data
• Review accounts receivable/accounts payable and process using 3rd party applications
• Reconcile Monthly Vendor Statements
• Review payroll time entries and process payroll
• Run GST/HST/PST reports, review audit trail and file reports with CRA
• Prepare T4 returns
• Set up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning and other aspects of cloud Bookkeeping work
• Perform/assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Experience with prepaids, amortization and intercompany transactions preferred
• Perform basic financial analysis
• Prepare basic analytical reports and cash flow statements
• Collaborate with clients on a regular basis
• Train and mentor junior colleague

• A passion for technology and innovative thinking
• Bookkeeping certification or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working independently and as a team on engagements, monitoring tasks, and deadlines
• Attention to Detail
• Experience in Microsoft Excel

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $57,500–$83,200 in Prince George. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
