  • Develops and sustains strategic partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, regulatory bodies, and simulation networks
  • Represents the college on provincial, national, and international simulation initiatives and collaborative projects
  • Advocates for the expanded use of simulation in nursing education with government and regulatory stakeholders
  • Creates shared learning opportunities, leading practices, and province-wide educational consistency in collaboration with academic and healthcare partners

  • Champions interprofessional education initiatives through partnerships and integrated simulation experiences involving multiple health disciplines
  • Provides expert consultation on simulation-based education and competency-based assessment to faculty, academic leaders, and administrators
  • Leads faculty development, mentorship, organizational change, and capacity-building initiatives related to simulation pedagogy and educational innovation
  • Influences teaching and learning practices through the promotion of simulation scholarship, innovation, and educational excellence
  • Provides leadership for simulation-related scholarship, research priorities, and evidence-informed educational practices
  • Contributes expertise to funded research initiatives focused on simulation pedagogy, technology-enhanced learning, competency-based education, and clinical judgment
  • Supports efforts to secure external funding for innovation, research, and strategic growth in simulation-based education
  • Disseminates scholarly work through publications, presentations, and professional collaborations
  • Evaluates simulation initiatives using learner performance, educational outcomes, and program data to inform decision-making and future enhancements
  • Fosters a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement through organizational evaluation and evidence-informed enhancements
  • Creates opportunities for nursing students to participate in team-based and interprofessional simulation experiences.
  • Chairs and contributes to governance committees and working groups related to simulation education, implementation, and assessment
  • Participates in recruitment, orientation, and supervision activities involving contract instructors delivering simulation education
  • Communicates and acts in a respectful and professional manner, collaborates effectively, abides by policy, and contributes to a positive and productive work and learning environment
  • Engages in continuous learning by participating in activities, training, and events related to Indigenous engagement, reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion
