• Coordinate and grow a portfolio of personal giving donors through proactive cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and relationship management to increase donor retention, gift frequency, and gift value.

• Identify opportunities to deepen donor engagement and advance donors along the annual giving continuum through tailored cultivation and stewardship activities.
• Respond to donor inquiries and engagement opportunities in a timely, professional, and donor-centred manner.
• Deliver stewardship activities, including acknowledgments, recognition, impact reporting, and other engagement initiatives that strengthen long-term donor relationships.
• Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser's Edge, documenting interactions, donor preferences, and engagement activities while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Track, analyze, and report on portfolio performance, using donor data and insights to identify opportunities, monitor progress toward targets, and inform ongoing donor engagement activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Annual Giving, Donor Relations, Communications, Philanthropy, and other Foundation teams to deliver an integrated and consistent donor experience.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience
• Successful completion of postsecondary education in Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline, required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in annual giving, donor relations, fundraising, account management, sales, or another relationship-focused role, required.
• Experience managing and growing a donor or client portfolio, with responsibility for retention, stewardship, and relationship development.
• Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or other complex mission-driven environment is preferred.
• Experience using donor databases or CRM systems, preferably Raiser's Edge.
• Knowledge of charitable giving principles, donor stewardship practices, and CRA receipting requirements is considered an asset.

As a not-for-profit foundation entrusted with donor funds and community partnerships, the successful candidate must complete and pass a criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
