Job description

CO-OP/Contract Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator - Western Canada

Co-op/Contract Position | Calgary, AB (Travel within Western Canada Required)

This is not your typical co-op opportunity.

If you're looking for a placement where you'll spend your term observing from the sidelines, this probably isn't the right fit.

If you want to:

• Gain hands-on experience on active construction projects

• Learn from experienced HSE and operational leaders

• Participate in inspections, audits, investigations, and risk assessments

• Help support a strong safety culture built on care, learning, and continuous improvement

• Build a foundation for a successful career in Health, Safety & Environment

...this role is built for that.

Why Soletanche Bachy Canada – We Care

At Soletanche Bachy Canada, safety isn't a rulebook. It's how we care for each other.

We are building a culture where people feel safe to speak up, leaders coach rather than blame, learning is valued alongside compliance, and risks are managed through effective planning, systems, and critical controls.

With more than 120 years of experience in North America and as part of the Soletanche Freyssinet global group, we combine local expertise with international capability while creating an environment where people can learn, contribute, and grow.
