Job description

Responsabilités du poste

  • Rechercher, extraire et manipuler des données complexes provenant de sources pertinentes, et évaluer la qualité des données.
  • Soutenir l’entreprise et l’ensemble de l’équipe en effectuant des analyses/examens et en répondant à des demandes ponctuelles ou en participant à des projets spéciaux en temps opportun, avec un soutien minimal des pairs et des gestionnaires.
  • Repérer les nouvelles tendances du secteur et analyser leur incidence sur l’entreprise.
  • Fournir des mises à jour périodiques sur le projet aux parties prenantes. Anticiper les obstacles et les signaler à l’avance.
  • Diriger des projets du début à la fin. S’occuper de la mise en œuvre des produits finaux. S’occuper de la formation et des documents relatifs aux projets, au besoin.
  • Contribuer activement à l’encadrement, à la formation et au perfectionnement des analystes actuariels.
  • Renforce la confiance et la crédibilité auprès de ses pairs. Développer de solides relations de travail entre les équipes.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en actuariat, en mathématiques, en statistique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 4 ans d’expérience en actuariat, un atout.
  • Avoir réussi les 4 examens de la CAS est un atout.
  • Communication et création de relations Excellentes aptitudes en matière de communication orale et écrite, capacité démontrée à transmettre une terminologie d’affaires ainsi que des perspectives significatives qui sont bien accueillies.
  • Compétences en informatique et en programmation Excellente connaissance d’Excel, de SQL, de R, de Python ou d’autres logiciels, langages de programmation ou logiciels actuariels connexes.
  • Résolution de problèmes Connaissance approfondie de la science actuarielle, des mathématiques, des probabilités, des statistiques, des principes financiers et commerciaux, et grande capacité à appliquer ces connaissances à des problèmes d’assurance.
  • Souci du détail Grand souci du détail lors de l’exécution d’analyses, avec un minimum d’erreurs techniques.
  • Gestion des conflits et travail d’équipe Capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe.
