The Position
This position will be based at ExCel Discovery and will include direct involvement and support of the program, staff team, youth, and community partners. This position will be part of the Enviros leadership team and will ensure that day-to-day operations follow program protocols and Enviros policy. Responsibilities
Competencies · Strong communication skills · Subject matter expert on child and youth care programs · Detail oriented with strong organizational skills · Supportive leader that encourages ongoing staff development · Able to adapt to changing situations · Open Communication · Able to provide effective feedback and supervision to staff Education & Experience · Post-secondary education in a Human Services related field · Experience and demonstrated skills in supervising staff · Experience working with youth affected by trauma · Experience/ Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act is considered an asset · CPR and first aid certification Other Qualifications · Valid Class 5 driver’s license ( Class 5 GDL will not be accepted) · A clean driver’s abstract containing not more than two (2) minor offences or one (1) major offence · Police Record Check with Vulnerable sector check ( within six (6) months) · Child Intervention Check (within six (6) months) Other Qualifications •Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 5 GDL will not be accepted) •A clean driver’s abstract containing not more than two (2) minor offences or one (1) major offence •Police Record Check with Vulnerable sector check (within six (6) months) •Child Intervention Check (within six (6) months) Salary: $60,000 – $67,000 annually How to apply: https://enviros.sagehcm.com/jobs/332/1/#158/apply Pre‑Employment Background Check Requirements As a condition of employment, all staff working for Enviros are required to complete:
