Heres how aField Coordinator for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. within Winnipeg contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Assists with updating drawings and specifications.
• Documents field records for quality production labor and materials.
• Assists with inventory and tracking time sheets costs and quantities.
• Prepares quantity takeoffs.
• Assists in monitoring the quality plan including conducting quality inspections deficiencies and issue management.
• Conducts basic safety inspections and training identifies and corrects safety hazards and leads by example in safety practices and procedures.
• Assists the project team with subtrade partner management including managing requests for information shop drawings changes and billings and workforce planning
• Assists with schedules and monitoring performance.
• Assists in creating construction sequence and work plans.
• Construction surveying and layout including as-built documentation.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering construction management architecture trade or a related field.
• 1 year of progressive construction experience.
• Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles specifications and procedures.
• Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D AutoCAD and Revit considered an asset.
