Job description
Join the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as a Lead Engineer focused on construction management for impactful infrastructure projects. Drive your career by overseeing projects from design through to completion. As a Lead Engineer, you will report directly to the Regional Engineer and guide engineering staff involved in building construction or renovation projects. You will handle project management duties, ensuring all phases meet regulatory and safety standards while staying within budget. Collaborate with contractors and inspectors to address technical issues effectively and ensure quality assurance throughout construction. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all phases of multi-disciplinary building projects • Direct consultants and contractors regarding client needs • Conduct quality assurance inspections during construction • Monitor project timelines and budgets responsibly • Create reports on project status and expenditures Requirements: • Accredited Engineering degree and P.Eng registration • Proven experience in large construction projects • Skills in contract administration and team supervision • Willingness to travel as required • Valid Class 05 driver's license Elevate your engineering career while contributing to essential infrastructure developments within Newfoundland and Labrador. #J-18808-Ljbffr
