Develop your potential. Lead with purpose. Make a difference.

Are you a passionate healthcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? At Lifemark, you'll have the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with inspiring leadership, helping both your team and clients achieve exceptional outcomes.

As Canada's largest physiotherapy company, Lifemark is committed to helping Canadians move better, feel better, and live better. Every day, our teams make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Lifemark Sunpark Plaza is home to one of our specialized Return to Work (RTW) Programs, providing interdisciplinary rehabilitation services that support injured workers in safely returning to meaningful employment. Our team works closely with funders, employers, and healthcare professionals to deliver individualized rehabilitation plans focused on recovery, function, and successful return-to-work outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team where leadership, innovation, and clinical excellence come together to make a lasting impact.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Your Impact

As Team Lead, you\'ll play a vital role in balancing clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. Approximately 40% of your time will be dedicated to clinical care, while 60% will focus on leading the rehabilitation team, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous program improvement.

You\'ll coach and mentor clinicians, foster a collaborative team culture, ensure high-quality service delivery, and help shape the future of our Return to Work program while continuing to make a direct impact on client recovery.

What You\'ll Be Doing

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and support an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Mentor clinicians and encourage ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members.

Clinical Excellence

  • Maintain an active clinical caseload while delivering evidence-informed, patient-centered care.
  • Provide consultation and co-treatment support to clinicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize client outcomes.
  • Support best practices and clinical excellence across the program.

Program Operations

  • Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation to ensure efficient program delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance, rehabilitation outcomes, client satisfaction, and funder expectations.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve program quality, efficiency, and performance metrics.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation that meets regulatory and funder requirements.
  • Complete quality assurance reviews and documentation audits.

Are You the Right Fit?

We\'re looking for a collaborative leader who is passionate about developing people while delivering exceptional client care. You inspire others through coaching, lead with empathy and integrity, and enjoy creating an environment where both clients and clinicians can thrive.

Qualifications

  • Active registration and good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory college (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Kinesiology).
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team coordination experience is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Desired experience working within Return to Work, occupational rehabilitation, WCB, disability management, or interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering outstanding client experiences.

  • Team culture that values collaboration, learning, and shared success.
  • Centralized support so you can focus on care, not administration.
  • Robust onboarding and supervised new grad program.
  • Ongoing mentorship to support clinical skills development.

  • 30% employee discount at Shoppers Drug Mart.
  • Corporate discount at GoodLife Fitness, Workperks, and employee assistance program.
