Job description
Pursue a rewarding career as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. This temporary full-time position supports both inpatient and outpatient services in gastrointestinal health. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing patient care under the supervision of skilled Gastroenterologists. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering patient education. Clinical expertise combined with a commitment to effective communication are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments for inpatient care and follow-up • Document treatment plans and patient progress • Order diagnostic tests and interpret findings • Facilitate patient admissions and discharges • Provide educational support to patients and families Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program • Eligible for the National Certification Exam • Minimum of 2 years managing inpatient care preferred • Familiarity with gastrointestinal diseases is ideal • Active CPSO registration is mandatory Enhance your skills in a specialized healthcare environment and improve patient experiences at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. #J-18808-Ljbffr
