Position Details

The invites applications for a Tenure-Track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin 1st July 2027, subject to budgetary approval. Hiring salary will be in the range of $89,064 and $102,100 per year, with starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. We are seeking a colleague whose teaching and research focus on any aspect of human cognition, social psychology, or individual differences. Outstanding candidates should also be able to teach a range of junior- and senior-level undergraduate courses in their area of expertise. They will establish and sustain an independent, externally funded research program, demonstrate excellence in engaging and inspiring undergraduate and graduate students, and contribute actively to departmental programs and curriculum development. It is imperative that the successful applicant holds a Ph.D. and at least one graduate degree in Psychology. Our interests range across various areas of experimental, social and forensic psychology, to sociocultural behaviour in humans and other animals, and aspects of animal communication.
