Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to coordinate Engineering operations and provide executive support that drives efficiency, alignment, and results.


The Engineering Operations Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Engineering department while providing executive support to the Director of Projects & Engineering. Approximately 60% of the role is dedicated to coordinating departmental operations, improving processes and systems, monitoring performance, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. The remaining 40% focuses on executive support, including managing priorities, schedules, communications, and administrative activities to enable the Director's effectiveness. This role serves as a key operational resource, helping ensure departmental objectives are executed efficiently and effectively.


This is an in-office position based out of our office located in Pointe Claire, Montreal. As this role supports customers across Canada, English proficiency both written and verbal is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of the Engineering department.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve engineering workflows, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, PMO, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Support document revisions, change management, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools, technologies, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports.
  • Monitor engineering and project metrics, including workload, backlog, capacity, turnaround times, rework trends, and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support planning, reporting, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with departmental planning, budgeting, resource forecasting, and onboarding.
  • Manage departmental records, expenses, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Manage the Director of Projects & Engineering’s calendar, meetings, travel, expenses, and daily schedule.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Track priorities, commitments, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion and escalation of issues when required.
  • Coordinate requests, approvals, and decisions with internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Screen and prioritize communications, draft correspondence and reports, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as required to support departmental objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum

Nous recherchons un(e) professionnel(le) très organisé(e) et proactif(ve) pour coordonner les opérations d’ingénierie et apporter un soutien à la direction afin de favoriser l’efficacité, la cohésion et l’obtention de résultats.


Le coordinateur des opérations d'ingénierie soutient les activités quotidiennes du service d'ingénierie tout en assurant un soutien administratif au directeur des projets et de l'ingénierie. Environ 60 % de ce poste est consacré à la coordination des opérations du service, à l’amélioration des processus et des systèmes, au suivi des performances et au soutien des initiatives transversales. Les 40 % restants sont consacrés à l’assistance de direction, notamment à la gestion des priorités, des calendriers, des communications et des tâches administratives afin de garantir l’efficacité du directeur. Ce poste constitue une ressource opérationnelle essentielle, contribuant à garantir que les objectifs du service sont atteints de manière efficace et efficiente.


Il s’agit d’un poste en présentiel basé dans nos locaux situés à Pointe-Claire, à Montréal. Ce poste impliquant l’accompagnement de clients à travers tout le Canada, une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral est requise.


Principales responsabilités

  • Soutenir les opérations quotidiennes du service d’ingénierie.
  • Développer, maintenir et améliorer les flux de travail, les procédures et les bonnes pratiques en matière d’ingénierie.
  • Coordonner les activités entre les services d’ingénierie, le PMO, les opérations, les ventes et d’autres services.
  • Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus afin d’accroître l’efficacité, la cohérence et l’évolutivité.
  • Apporter son soutien aux révisions de documents, à la gestion du changement, aux audits et aux activités de conformité.
  • Contribuer à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux outils, de nouvelles technologies et d’améliorations de processus.
  • Développer et mettre à jour les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI), les tableaux de bord et les rapports de performance.
  • Suivre les indicateurs d’ingénierie et de projet, notamment la charge de travail, le carnet de commandes, la capacité, les délais d’exécution, les tendances en matière de retouches et le respect des délais de livraison.
  • Mener des recherches, analyser des données et fournir des informations pertinentes pour soutenir la planification, le reporting, la prise de décision et l’amélioration continue.
  • Participer à la planification, à la budgétisation, à la prévision des ressources et à l’intégration des nouveaux collaborateurs au sein du service.
  • Gérer les dossiers, les dépenses, les factures et les bons de commande du service.
  • Gérer l’agenda, les réunions, les déplacements, les notes de frais et l’emploi du temps quotidien du directeur des projets et de l’ingénierie.
  • Préparer les ordres du jour des réunions, les documents, les comptes rendus et les actions de suivi.
  • Assurer le suivi des priorités, des engagements, des échéances et des livrables afin de garantir leur réalisation dans les délais et de signaler les problèmes en amont si nécessaire.
  • Coordonner les demandes, les validations et les décisions avec les parties prenantes internes.
  • Servir de point de contact principal pour les collaborateurs, les clients, les fournisseurs et les autres parties prenantes.
  • Filtrer et hiérarchiser les communications, rédiger la correspondance et les rapports, et préserver la confidentialité des informations sensibles.
  • Accomplir toute autre tâche nécessaire à la réalisation des objectifs du service.
