Pay or shift range: $90,000 CAD to $120,000 CAD for a 35‑hour work week. We’re committed to fair and transparent pay. The salary reflects your experience, skills, and overall fit for the role while referencing internal equity to ensure fairness across the firm. About the role

We’re currently looking for two Managers for the Private Enterprise team — one based in our Vancouver office and one in our Tri‑Cities office — to play a key role in leading client engagements, developing our team, and delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of privately held businesses.

Each role sits within our growing Private Enterprise practice, working closely with highly collaborative Partners who support an exciting mix of industries and owner‑managed businesses. You won’t be siloed; instead, you’ll be trusted with a broad range of files and real client exposure, supported by leaders who value balance, mentorship, and quality work. This is a tight‑knit team with low turnover, a strong culture of collaboration, and a genuine focus on people development and work‑life balance.

How you’ll make a difference

• Lead and deliver high‑quality engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met so that clients feel confident and supported.
• Coach, develop, and inspire junior team members, providing real‑time feedback, reviewing work, and supporting performance growth and building the next generation of talent.
• Strengthen client relationships as a trusted advisor, managing communication and deadlines, identifying value‑added opportunities, and guiding clients through complex accounting and tax matters to support their growth.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies, supporting process enhancements, leveraging technology tools, and contributing to firm initiatives to elevate our client experience and internal culture.

Who you are

• CPA‑designated with 5+ years of public practice experience, primarily supporting private‑enterprise clients.
• Strong technical skills in compilations, review engagements, corporate and personal tax, and year‑end planning.
• Experienced in file planning, managing engagements, reviewing work, coaching staff, and communicating with clients.
• Experienced in CaseWare and Taxprep; experience with QBO, Simply Accounting, or cloud accounting tools is an asset.
• Values feedback, mentorship, and supporting others’ growth and thrives in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
• Excited to build relationships, contribute to firm initiatives, and grow leadership capabilities – including recruiting, training, and CPA mentorship opportunities.
