Working within the Cougars Athletics and Recreation department these are flexible positions whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week. These positions will end March 31 2027.
The Sports Information Assistant (SIA) supports all aspects of varsity event media coverage and game day staff support. The SIA will assist with managing game day set up post game reporting requirements statistical coverage and broadcast logistics. They are responsible for game day media coverage including writing the game story posting scores on social media score reporting and supporting media requests. The ideal candidate loves sports and is seeking career experience in sport communications journalism or marketing. The role requires professionalism leadership skills and a proactive mindset.
Salary: $21.87 - $27.61 per hour
