Your role:

The Frontend Web Developer Co-op is a member of a highly focused team responsible for building a modern sophisticated applications using leading edge technologies. This is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of front-end development from writing pixel perfect CSS to using React and JavaScript to implement features. We will provide you with mentoring code reviews and access to senior developers to help you with your tasks so you will learn lots!

Your responsibilities:

• Using Typescript JavaScript HTML and CSS to implement web UIs for Global Relays core service offering
• Collaborate with UX and application teams on creating usable beautiful and powerful user interfaces
• Implement features using our development process including design review code reviews continuous integration extensive unit testing automated testing and see them all the way to production
• Work with QA to ensure that we build a quality product

About you:

• Sound computer science fundamentals
• Knowledge of object-oriented application design
• Experience creating web apps using HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Exposure to JavaScript libraries frameworks and platforms such as Redux jQuery AngularJS etc.

Compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbias pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise skills education and professional background.

The range below reflects the expected annual base salary which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive extended health benefits program including virtual healthcare and a wellness allowance. Employees also receive annual allotted vacation days which increase based on tenure. $42000 - $66000 CAD

Compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in accordance with provincial law. Salaries are displayed in the form of annual base salary but are paid out semi-monthly for the duration of employment.
