Job Description

Our Western Canada Team is growing and looking for exceptional consulting professionals to join us. We provide unique opportunities to engage with high-profile clients and drive transformative initiatives across diverse industries, including energy, utilities, public sector, technology, and other complex business environments.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Management Consultant – Organizational Change Management (OCM) to support clients through business, technology, and AI-enabled transformation. The ideal candidate is a strong management consultant with a proven track record of leading and implementing successful change management initiatives within complex organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to influence, advise, and drive change at all levels of an organization.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will bring a broad understanding of business and technology solutions, industry best practices, and hands‑on experience supporting transformation initiatives. They will also demonstrate an understanding of emerging technologies, including generative AI and agentic AI, and how these capabilities can impact people, processes, roles, operating models, and ways of working.

NOTE

  • You must be local to Calgary and surrounding area and be willing to work in a hybrid environment with a combination of remote and on‑client site.
  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, challenges, transformation goals, and organizational impacts.
  • Apply strong management consulting skills, including structured problem‑solving, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, executive communication, facilitation, business case awareness, and the ability to translate complex and ambiguous challenges into practical recommendations.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans, including impact assessments, change readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications, training, adoption, and sustainment activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders to support alignment, engagement, and buy‑in across all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, interviews, and meetings to gather insights, manage feedback, and support decision‑making.
  • Lead the implementation of change initiatives, monitor progress, identify risks or resistance, and adjust plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop training programs, materials, and knowledge‑transfer resources to help employees build the skills needed to adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Establish metrics to measure change effectiveness, conduct post‑implementation reviews, and identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing client support to sustain change and reinforce adoption.
  • Contribute to internal practice development by sharing leading practices, enhancing change management tools and templates, and supporting the growth of organizational change capabilities across the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
  • PROSCI Change Management Certification or other recognized certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in organizational change management, preferably within a consulting, utilities, IT, or HR environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large‑scale change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies – understanding the roles and responsibilities of various team members. Any formal SCRUM or AGILE certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Experience working with diverse industries and an understanding of different business models.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team‑building skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with a clear and structured yearly salary increase and bonuses.
  • Healthcare benefits that include dental, vision, life insurance, and RRSP contributions.
  • Career advocacy program that supports achieving personal development goals through coaching, collaboration, and real‑time feedback.
  • Robust learning and development platform through the Sia Institute, Working Groups and Training.
  • Reimbursement for continuing education and certifications.
  • Your team will consist of highly educated, specialised and entrepreneurial consultants within a company which is a successful player in the global consulting market.
  • Working in an environment which creates opportunities to share knowledge and work together on international projects with colleagues all over the world.
