Tacten is seeking a Rope Access Technicians to support our client site at Syncrude in Fort McMurray AB.
As a Rope Access Technician you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision efficiency and safety.

Requirements
- IRATA Level 1 2 or 3 Rope Access Certification required with candidates placed in roles and responsibilities appropriate to their certification level and demonstrated experience.
- Journeyperson certification or Registered Apprentice status in Insulating Welding Pipefitting or a related industrial trade is required or considered a strong asset depending on experience and project needs.
- Proven experience working in industrial environments such as oil & gas construction or maintenance projects with an understanding of site conditions and safety expectations.
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients supervisors and co-workers in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence and quality workmanship with a strong awareness of hazard identification and risk mitigation practices.
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical level with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures adapt to changing job site conditions and work effectively under pressure in physically demanding environments.
Safety Requirements:
- CSTS-09 or CSO required.
- H2S Alive certification required.
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor certification required.
- Fall Protection certification considered an asset with willingness to obtain if required.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to all site-specific and regulatory safety standards.
