Job description
Role Mission & MandateAs a Talent Acquisition Partner you will play a critical role in elevating the talent by recruiting top tier professionals. We are looking for someone who excels at building relationships understands the unique demands of the veterinary industry and takes pride in providing an exceptional hiring manager and candidate will own the full recruitment lifecycle through a hightouch relationshipdriven approach while guiding hiring managers and candidates through an efficient and candidatecentric selection process. Working within our People Team youll collaborate crossfunctionally to match exceptional talent based equally on professional skills team fit and alignment to our VetStrategy Acquisition ProcessDrive the recruitment process by devising implementing and following up on a search strategy for each role Identify and execute various traditional and creative sourcing techniques: mobilizing your and other stakeholders networks internet searches referral programs social media direct sourcing job platformsInitiate contact with candidates schedule and conduct pre-screening interviews advise hiring managers follow up on the process ensuring timely communication and prompt actionNegotiate and extend job offers while coordinating with the Operations teamDocument interviews and working interviews debrief provide feedback and communicate updates continuously to all partiesMaintain accurate documentation on all candidates searches hiring managers interactions and other recruiting activities in the applicant tracking systemSourcing & Talent PipelinesLead sourcing efforts for hard to fill and high impact roles through research hiring tools and techniquesDevelop and maintain strong pipelines of future candidates for priority vacancies and geographically rural locationsLeverage market intelligence through online and in person networking to expand reach and enhance sourcing effectivenessCollaborate with Recruitment Branding Manager to design engagement strategies that drive applicationsRelationship ManagementProvide consultative support to all business areas ensuring a thoughtful cost-conscious approach with external search effective relationships with Support Office stakeholders including hiring managers and business leaders ensuring ongoing satisfaction with services Brand & Candidate EngagementSupport employer branding and awareness efforts through social media content creation and amplificationAct as a brand ambassador by participating in national industry and campus events and conferences in partnership with the Recruitment Partnerships & Programs team to drive hiring awareness and promote our brandPartner with operations and clinic teams to identify local hiring needs and support the design and execution of targeted hiring events to drive candidate engagement and pipeline generationCollaborate with Recruitment Branding Manager to design continuous engagement strategies that drive applications to the Talent Acquisition teamRecruiting ProgramsSupport advocate or lead recruiting projects that enhance the hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting processIdentify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve recruitment operationsAccountability & PerformanceResponsible to deliver for KPIs tied to pipeline development and qualified leads that convert to hiresWeekly updates and performance reporting on activities and outcomesExperience Profile3 years of recruitment experience focusing on hard to fill or niche positions where candidate sourcing is a standardExperience in veterinary or human health care industries preferredAdvanced experience with LinkedIn RecruiterAble to talent map and build recruiting strategy based on industry or competitor researchStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing hiring needsFluently bilingual English and FrenchExcellent communication skills youre a natural connector and storyteller able to build trust and relationshipsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesHigh-level negotiation influence and presentation skills with senior managementDemonstrated initiative collaboration and team-first mindsetGenuine care for building meaningful internal and external relationshipsLiving Our Values Through LeadershipThis role is more than a checklist of accountabilities - its a reflection of how we show up as leaders in our practice with our teams and across our network.
