Job description
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing the Business Manager is a project manager and liaison between our brands and the Strategic Sourcing team. Working closely with the brands in their portfolio the Business Manager ensures proper communication to all stakeholders with respect to product integration product changes forecasting and product development. The Business Manager is responsible for coordinating product menu and limited time offer rollouts to the field as well as troubleshooting any issues that you will do in this role:Communicate product/vendor changes to brandsCommunicate product and menu implementation plan to brandsEnsure sufficient inventory and notification of new and/or promotional itemsManage forecasting process to reduce potential liability of excess stock or loss of salesRepresent Strategic Sourcing on cross functional teams (PMT)Coordination/management of brand-led initiatives from brief through to completionWhat we are looking for from you:3-5 years food industry experience or project managementStrong communication skillsStrong planning and coordination skills including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing service orientationAbility to manage resources anticipate issues and monitor business controlsAbility to pivot project objectives and manage change on the flyStrong understanding of the distribution processesAbility to clearly communicate your ideas and provide accurate feedbackAbility to demonstrate and ensure team delivery of quality customer service according to defined standardsAbility to prioritize the team/company goals and work with others to achieve those goalsWhats in it for youFlexible/Hybrid work environmentPay range: $70000 - $90000Youd be joining a close-knit innovative team of creative and energetic go-gettersYoud be a part of Canadas largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation20% associate discount dining card and monthly dining allowance valid at participating Recipe brandsA welcoming fun and safe work environment founded on respectCareer advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canadas most iconic restaurant brandsIndustry-leading benefits wellness programs and total rewards programsRecipe is committed to providing a diverse equitable and inclusive workplace.
