Contract
- Initial Term: Approximately 18 months (extension possible)
- Hours: 36.25 hours/week (7.25 hours/day)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (MT)
Role Summary
The Government of Alberta is seeking a Change Management Specialist to support a major transformation initiative. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on creating change management artifacts, facilitating stakeholder engagement, developing communication and training materials, and supporting implementation readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with project and business teams to ensure stakeholders are prepared for organizational and operational changes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4+ years of direct change management/facilitation experience
- 4+ years developing change management deliverables, including:
- Change Strategy & Plans
- Training Strategy & Plans
- Stakeholder Impact Assessments
- Communication Strategy & Plans
- 4+ years developing stakeholder communication materials
Preferred Qualifications
- PROSCI or CCMP Certification
- 3+ years developing and delivering training materials
- 3+ years developing readiness programs or stakeholder engagement initiatives
- 2+ years gathering business requirements through interviews, workshops, process analysis, etc.
- 3+ years supporting digital transformation initiatives within the Government of Alberta
