Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Sales Manager, Western Canada for our client, a leading organization committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader who is passionate about business development, team leadership, and driving revenue growth across a dynamic and competitive market.
Based in Calgary, Alberta , the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading regional sales strategies, expanding market share, strengthening customer relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth throughout Western Canada.

Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Business Growth
  • Drive regional sales growth and market expansion through strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasts, and key metrics to ensure regional targets are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, including Inside Sales Representatives and Field Account Executives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, establish development plans, and support employee growth initiatives.
  • Motivate team members to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and industry partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, presentations, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Support major account strategies and assist with contract negotiations and business development activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Service, Administration, Marketing, and Leadership teams to enhance the customer experience.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Support strategic initiatives designed to improve operational effectiveness and revenue growth .
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Previous leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitable business growth.
  • Experience developing strategic sales plans and executing successful business development initiatives.
  • Experience within the technology industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-management and customer-engagement capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics, market intelligence, and sales forecasts to drive business decisions.
  • Strong understanding of sales management, territory planning, and account development strategies.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel throughout Western Canada.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
