The expected pay range for this position is $85000 - $95000 annually.
This Research Associate (RA) position will be a one-year position at 0.8 FTE starting in September 2026. It will involve isolation of natural products. Specifically the work will involve the following:
Purification and NMR structural characterization of natural products
Familiarity with analytical and organic chemistry
Investigation of biosynthetic pathways using bioinformatic genetic and chemical techniques
Minimum requirements:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry Natural Medicinal Chemistry Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology
At least 5 years of postdoctoral experience in natural products research
Experience in microbiology
Experience in purification and structural characterization of organic molecules using mass spectrometry and NMR
A strong publication record
Excellent communication and analytical abilities; ability to independently execute experiments and to mentor younger scientists
