Job description
emergiTEL is hiring a Managing Systems Architect (JIRA Architect) for our client in the Information Technology services industry. This is a 6-month contractrole with the possibility of extension.
Compensation: $75 - $88/hour
Location: Vancouver BC (Remote PST hours)
Job Description (English)
  • Design optimize and govern the Atlassian Jira ecosystem across multiple teams and projects
  • Architect and maintain Jira configurations including schemes workflows and system structure
  • Standardize Jira configurations across projects and teams to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Implement and manage custom fields screens permission schemes and automation rules
  • Integrate Jira with other tools and platforms (e.g. Confluence CI/CD pipelines ITSM systems)
  • Establish and enforce best practices governance frameworks and usage guidelines for Jira
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Jira solutions
  • Support reporting and process optimization through well-designed Jira configurations
  • Ensure system performance reliability and scalability across Jira environments (Cloud and/or Data Center)
  • Work within Agile delivery frameworks including Scrum Kanban and SDLC processes
  • Utilize Jira automation scripting and REST APIs for advanced customization and integration
  • Provide strong communication and stakeholder management across multiple teams
  • Must be able to work PST hours; candidates local to the Greater Vancouver area are preferred

  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes métiers et techniques pour recueillir les besoins et les traduire en solutions Jira efficaces
  • Soutenir la production de rapports et loptimisation des processus grâce à des configurations Jira bien conçues
  • Assurer la performance la fiabilité et lévolutivité du système Jira (Cloud et/ou Data Center)
  • Travailler dans des environnements Agile (Scrum Kanban SDLC)
  • Utiliser lautomatisation Jira les scripts et les API REST pour des personnalisations avancées
  • Démontrer dexcellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes
  • Doit pouvoir travailler selon le fuseau horaire PST ; les candidats locaux de la région du Grand Vancouver sont privilégiés
