Position Type: unscheduled part time
Expected Start Date: July 13 2026
The hiring rate for this role is $23.04 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

To be successful as our new COOK you will:
- Be a graduate of Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma from an accredited college
- Possess a food safety certification
- Be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
- Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the COOK role
It would be an asset if our new COOK has:
- Acquired a Red Seal designation
- Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of relevant policies procedures legislation regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector
