Job descriptionWe are hiring a Cloud Administrator with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent, 5+ years of infrastructure administration experience, and 2–3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience (including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to support cloud operations, monitoring, identity governance, and cost optimization in a hybrid (remote & onsite) role. The primary service location is 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, over a 24-month term (6-month initial + up to 18-month renewal(s), with possible extension).

Services & Deliverables
• All services performed on-site with primary location at 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg, regardless of resource’s residence.
• Service location may change as part of the Statement of Work between Proponent and Manitoba.
• Manitoba may, at its sole discretion, provide an option to work remotely:
• Remote working rate: rate for primarily remote work, called onsite if needed.
• Onsite rate: rate for primarily onsite work per SOW location; may work remotely with prior written permission.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure administration experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Service Models:
• IaaS
• PaaS
• SaaS
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
• Experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• Experience with cost optimization and cloud financial management.
• Experience with identity governance, including:
• PIM (Privileged Identity Management)
• Entra ID advanced features
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Experience working in regulated or public sector environments.
